TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO ADOPT THE 2025 TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN per Chapter 66.1001(4)(d) of the Wisconsin Statutes, a joint Public Hearing will be conducted by the Star Prairie Town Board and Plan Commission on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive in Somerset, Wis. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments regarding the update to the Town of Star Prairie Comprehensive Plan. The Town of Star Prairie 2025 Comprehensive Plan will guide the future growth and development of the Town of Star Prairie. The update included a community opinion survey and contains the nine required elements required by Wisconsin State Statute 66.1001 including:
- Issues & Opportunities Element
- Housing Element
- Transportation Element
- Utilities & Community Facilities Element
- Agricultural, Natural, & Cultural Resources Element
- Economic Development Element
- Intergovernmental Cooperation Element
- Land Use Element
- Implementation Element
Prior to the meeting, copies of the draft plan can be reviewed at the Star Prairie Town Hall during normal business hours or downloaded at the Town’s website: townofstarprairiewi.gov.
