St. Croix County scheduled special collection events for electronics, appliances, scrap metal, yard equipment and tires. Mark your calendar for these events, which are open to all St. Croix County residents.

Scrap Metal & Appliance Collection Events

Join us for a special recycling event hosted by St. Croix County in partnership with Amery Auto Salvage. Bring any items or parts of items that are over 60% metal, including but not limited to appliances, aluminum cans, scrap metal, automotive batteries, copper and other metals for free!

Tuesday, May 20, 2025 – 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Limited staff and equipment will be available onsite, so please plan to unload your own items. If you have large items, please bring them to Amery Auto Salvage where they can assist with unloading. All fuel and oils must be drained from equipment.

All proceeds will go directly to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s K9 Unit, helping to support their essential work in our community!

Tire Collection Event

Bring in your car, pick-up truck, motorcycle, ATV, SUV, semi, van, golf cart, trailer, yard equipment or bicycle tires for recycling (22-1/2” or smaller). 

Tuesday, June 10, 2025 – 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    300 Oak Ridge Parkway in Baldwin, Wis.

Please Note: There is a $1 charge per rim (cash only; please bring exact change). This event is made possible through a grant and funding is limited. Limit of 16 tires (22-1/2” or smaller) per household/address. Proof of county residency required. Businesses are not eligible.
