On Saturday, March 8, 2025 Star Prairie Fish & Game is hosting a free educational event for landowners in Polk and St. Croix Counties who have 10+ acres. Learn about programs offered through government and private organizations to improve wildlife habitat on your land, earn tax reductions and (potentially) receive payments. State and Federal agencies offer a variety of programs to assist landowners financially when they improve their land. Representatives from U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Wisconsin DNR, Pheasants Forever and other groups will be in attendance to answer your questions and start the process of improving your land. Pre-registration is required for one of two information sessions: 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. OR 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
